Macrogen Inc. (hereinafter “the Company”) shall comply with the personal information protection regulations of relevant legislation that an information and communication service provider must comply with, such as the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Etc., the Personal Information Protection Act, the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, and the Telecommunications Business Act, etc., and the Company shall share where and how the personal information provided by the customer is used and what is being done to protect it.
The Company shall notify any amendments to the Personal Information Treatment Policy through its website (or individual notification). 1. Personal Information Collected First, when the customer registers for the first time for membership, consultation, service application, etc., the Company shall collect the minimum amount of required and optional personal information as follows:
- Required items: ID, password, name, school/institution, college/division, department/team, name of the professor, mobile phone number, telephone number, e-mail address, billing e-mail address, address, invoice issuing place

2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information The Company shall use the collected personal information for the following purposes:

Retention and Use Period of Personal Information After the purpose of collection and use of personal information has been achieved, the Company shall destroy the relevant information immediately without exception. However, the following information shall be retained for the specified period due to the reasons stated below:
